Provider & Service: The Cleaning Shortlist is operated by Carly Litwin trading as The Cleaning Shortlist (sole trader), of 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (email: hello@thecleaningshortlist.co.uk · support: support@thecleaningshortlist.co.uk). We provide email alerts, renewal tracking and AI-generated plain-English summaries of publicly available UK public-sector tender notices. Procurement data is sourced from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government or any contracting authority.
2. No guarantee: We do not guarantee that every relevant tender or renewal is captured, that summaries or verdicts are error-free, or that you will win any contract. Summaries and verdicts ("Worth a look", "Long shot", "Skip") are automated, AI-assisted guidance only — not legal, procurement or bid-writing advice. Always read the original tender notice and procurement documents before deciding whether to bid.
3. Subscriptions & billing: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance in GBP via Stripe and auto-renew until cancelled. Prices shown exclude VAT (we are not currently VAT-registered). You can cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing support@thecleaningshortlist.co.uk; access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. We will give at least 30 days' email notice of any price changes (Founding Member plans remain locked at £19/month for life while continuously subscribed).
4. Business customers: The service is designed for business use by UK cleaning companies and sole traders. If you are a consumer under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel from sign-up; if you ask us to start delivering the service within that period, you remain liable for the pro-rata value of the service provided up to cancellation.
5. Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, wasted bid costs or lost contracts. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
6. Acceptable use: Shortlists, verdicts and renewal radar reports are provided for your own business use. No resale, public syndication or bulk redistribution is permitted without a written reseller agreement.
7. Governing law & contact: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
